OUTDOOR SCIENCE EDUCATION

Students become scientific naturalists, creative writers and artists in a journaling approach to appreciating and understanding how plants and animals are shaped by and shape the natural world.  Aspects of ecology, evolution, environmental science and BIOLOGY are used to understand what we observe and measure in the field.
  
This course is adapted for advanced/honors middle & high school rigor and useS project-based and portfolio assignments that include: fiction and non-fiction reading analysis, creative and scientific writing, mathematical analysis, and written and oral presentations.

Course includes hands-on lessons with ms. marr 
Plus activities and enrichment to do independently.
