Science through Storytelling (<--click for syllabus)
Creative arts class to explore science concepts for students 9-12.
Overview:	This outdoor science class is designed to introduce young students to reasoning     skills and creative thinking in a fun, adventurous way.  Each class meets at a field location and presents students with a science concept along with hands-on experiences and storytelling.  Outside of class students will expand on ideas from class, producing portfolio projects.
Classes:	MONDAYS 	1:00 – 2:00 PM (field locations vary)
		FALL:		10 classes   $125
		SPRING:	10 classes   $125
		CLASS SIZE LIMITED.

Wildlife Conservation (<--click for syllabus)
Outdoor science class for students 10-18.
Overview:	This class is designed to cover concepts of biology, ecology, and environmental science using experience-based exploration of THE plants, animals and fungi that shape our natural world.  students are given independent reading and writing assignments.
                     Course has a field component and a separate classroom experience (optional).  The enrichment classes give greater depth to our field studies using additional hands-on activities and group discussion.  
Field work:	FRIDAYS 	10:00 – 11:30 AM (locations vary; SOme locations 1-2 hours from richmond)
		FALL:		10 classes   $200
		SPRING:	10 classes   $200
		CLASS SIZE LIMITED.
                    
Enrichment:WednesDAYS 10:00 – 11:30 AM (SINGLE Location)
                     Students are grouped by age: 10-13 and 14-18
                     Must be enrolled in Field component.
		FALL:		5 classes    $100
                     Winter:       6 Labs         $150
		SPRING:	5 classes    $100 
		CLASS SIZE LIMITED.


Private Mentorship
Supplemental guidance for student success in science.
OVERVIEW:    Students needing science tutoring in INDEPENDENT SCIENCE PROJECTS, biology, chemistry, physics or algebra will receive help learning concepts as well as help improving organization, study and testing skills.

		$60/hour or $250 for 5 sessions.
